Find the center of the pentagram again with the pin of your compass and open it up as if you would be drawing a slightly larger circle of 14 squares (7 squares on either side). I have found a bit of a short cut, though: If you draw a circle on graph paper that is 12 squares wide in diameter (6 squares on either side), find the very center of the circle and draw a line straight up to find the top point of the pentagram. I looked it up this afternoon because I was in the mood to whip out some graph paper and draw some seals and sigils for magick and ritual. I hope this helps! Please let me know if it absolves your frustration. Have you ever been frustrated while attempting to draw a perfect pentagram, and occasionally “cursing” those Christians because the symbol of their faith is an offset cross? Well, I just found a fabulous tutorial for drawing the perfect pentagram!Īll you need is some graph paper (which I recently learned is called “quad ruled” paper!), a pencil, a ruler, and a compass! All you have to do is follow the directions and find the following points of the circle (if you have a protractor each point to be a perfect 72-degree angle): A, B, C, D, and E then you connect A to D and A to E, then D to C, E to B, and finally draw a line connecting B to C.
